Canandaigua NY: At the age of 78 entered peacefully in to heaven with family at her side on August 22,2016. Graduate of lyons high school Dolores dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and wife. She is survived by her daughters Marsha Simcox(Taso) and Stacy Cooper. Her grandchildren Cassandra(Michael) Ross, Carl Simcox (Krystina), and Marc Cooper II. Her great-grandchildren Rocco Ross, Genavive Ross, and Allymay Cooper-Pierson. She is survived by her brothers and sister Thomas Filippello, Kathleen(Judd) Bell, James Filippello, and Ralph Filippello. Survivied by many Nieces and Nephews. Dolores is predeceased by her loving husband of 28 years John States. Parents Rose and Dominic Filippello. Also her sister Theresa(Homer) Griswold.
Catholic funeral mass to be held on August 29,2016 at 10:30 am at St. Benedict’s Parrish at St. Mary’s Church in Canandaigua NY. Graveside services to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
