Rochester: September 26, 2014. Born September 9th, 1956, in Rochester, New York. Affectionately known as Al. He graduated from Benjamin Franklin High school, served in the United States Army, worked at the George Eastman Kodak Company and later with Monroe School Transportation. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Betty J. Mitchell; 2 sons, Alvonsey “Tiger” Jr. and Sampson “Sam”; 2 daughters, Jamilla and Javonia; his sister, Charlene; 23 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two aunt’s and 4 uncles; very special friend, Sonya. A host of family and friends.

I read of the loss of your loved one, and would like to extend my condolences. Please, take comfort in knowing that soon, Our Creator, will remove all causes of suffering, pain, sorrow, and even death forever! May all of you be comforted by His promises as you gain the strength and inner peace to cope with the difficult days ahead. May I assure you, I am not trying to give or change your religion. The pain of loss is felt, regardless of religion. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Philippians 4:6,7).

I would like to express our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Al. It was an honor to care and comfort Al during his last days and hours. He wasn’t able to speak and didn’t need to. Al’s smile spoke to all of us. As your family mourns your loss celebrate the love that has brought you all together.
