Brighton: Passed away peacefully after a long illness, October 4, 2014 at age 77. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Joann (Jefferds) Coon; son, Eric Coon; daughter, Kimberly (Ben) Cooper; grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Jordan & Richard; many friends. He was employed by Eastman Kodak Company and Brighton School District in the Building & Grounds Department.
Richard’s family is honoring a long standing request not to have calling hours or a service. The family will have a private Celebration of Richard’s life.
Contributions may be made to the Brighton Schools Retirement Fund or to Lollypop Farm in his memory.
