I knew Allison both before and during here time at CARS. As CEO, I saw her work both close up and from a distance. She was an invaluable and indispensable partner to all of us as we pursued a shared mission of hope and transformation.
Beyond that she was just a person of deep quality who stood for all of the stoical virtues of wisdom, courage, temperance and justice. These were not mere words but living breathing principles to which she held herself and those around her.
She was deeply loved and will always be a beacon for those virtues for all of us who knew her.

Allison was a tough-as-nails, compassionate and funny co-worker, She was dedicated to the clients and saw both the minute details as well as the greater picture. She was a true servant of the people, valuing the clients as only a dedicated social worker can. She will be missed. you don’t find that level of dedication or caring too often. She will be missed.
I just heard of Allison’s passing… I knew her in high school… wish I got to see her once more. Condolences to her family. The world shined just a bit brighter when she was here.
