Lillian May Aylsworth Treat January 24, 1928 – December 15, 2020
Attica, NY – Lillian Treat, after a very short illness, died at the young at heart age of 92, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Lillian was the daughter of the late Grace May Foster and George Aylsworth, and step daughter to Charles Foster.
Lill is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Don (Darwood) Treat; her youngest daughter Sue (Steve) Almeter; brothers Robert Aylsworth, Don Foster, and granddaughter Shannon Johnson Malone.
She is survived by her children Donna (late Russell) Johnson; Terry (Bonnie) Treat; William Treat; Vicki (late Loren) Reuben; and Bruce Treat. She has 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Lynda (Everett) VanSon. Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
How do you summarize 92+ years in a few paragraphs. Lill was a very active stay-at-home mom and was “nana” to the numerous kids she baby sat for. She had Sue’s little Yorkie companion Stickeen and her parrot, Tyler. Lill had a zest for life and her 92 years never slowed her down. She loved zipping around in her bikini blue Jeep Renegade, shopping, reading, visits to the Casino, her church card parties, going to lunch, playing cards, bowling many years ago and spending time with her family. She loved sports and was a huge Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. Lill really enjoyed going to the Rochester Americans and Batavia Muck Dogs games. She rarely missed watching a Bills or Sabres game on TV.
She was honored to be the Grand Marshall of the Attica Founders Parade along with her best friend of 70 plus years, Marilyn Spencer. She was very proud that 4 of her 6 children were in the military.
Lill was a lifelong active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Attica. She was currently president of the ECW, on the Vestry, altar guild and was a choir member.
The 3rd floor nursing staff at WCCH, and 2nd floor ICU nurses took extremely good care of mom the three weeks she was there, and we are forever grateful. All the support and love from family and friends during her last three weeks will never be forgotten.
Lill never had an unkind word for anyone and she touched the lives of all that she came in contact with. She had faith that carried her through good times and bad, and that faith showed her the way home
There were no calling hours, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when gatherings are safe. Interment will be at Corfu Cemetery with family present. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity or St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, PO Box 178,AtticaNY 14011.

Such a beautiful lady, inside and out. My deepest sympathy to your entire family. The last time I was with Lill we were pulled over by the cops in Donna’s car. It was a great night! Many fond memories.
