Rochester, NY: March 28, 2021. Marian transitioned peacefully, in her home at age 93.
She is predeceased by her husband Roscoe S. Sanders and two brothers James Griffin and William Webb.
Marian is survived by her five children; Arleen Joy Pacheco, Dianna Rae White, Darlene Fae White (George), Roscoe S. Sanders II (Ann), and Dionne Lynn Woodley; Her grandchildren Marina Joy Pacheco, Raydell Latimore, Mesha White, Paul White Jr., Brandon Sanders, Julian Sanders, Tristen Sanders, Taylor Sanders, Marcus Cooper, Terrance Woodley, her sister-in-law Cora Webb and nephew Michael Webb in addition to a host of great-grand-children, cousins and long-time friends and neighbors from Atkinson and Aldine Streets.
Before retiring Marian worked as an OR Technician, a case worker and later at Rochester Mental Health. Her hobbies included photography (landscapes in black & white) building and furnishing doll houses, maintaining photo scrape books and collecting lighthouses. Marian was born in LeRoy, NY with origins in Culpepper, VA.
A private memorial service will be held for family and friends.
She was indeed my light. Her home was headquarters to all of us. I miss you grandma and love you. RIP
