Rochester: Virginia Collins (87), career woman, US Army Veteran, care giver, woman of deep faith and inquisitive mind, slipped away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. She was the center of a loving extended family: her parents (Harold L. Collins, Sr. and Mary J. Gibson); her siblings (Helen, Edwin, Harold Jr. and George Collins, Sr.); her sister-in-law (Loretta Collins nee Strong); her nieces and nephew (Cheryl, Laurie, Kimberly, and George Collins, Jr.); her grand nieces (Jessica and Shannon O’Donnell); and her grand nephews (Ryan Burton, George Collins, III, and Aedan Collins).
Her gentle, generous and gracious spirit will be missed by those she left behind, but we are comforted that she is in the loving presence of her God and the arms of her family.
