Pittsford, NY – Passed away June 4, 2021 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his wife Loretta and granddaughter Mia Fame. Survived by son James R. (Karen) Backus; daughters Lori (Will) Embser, Julie (Jerry) Leva and Susie (Simon) Woods; grandchildren Katie (David) Bryant, James M. (Britany) Backus, Billy (Brianna) Backus, Brennan and Veronica Leva, Lila and Harry Woods; great grandchildren Shelby, Colin and Landon Bryant, Gianna, Chase, James D., Stella and Kiley Backus.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepard, 1130 Webster Rd, Webster, NY.
