Greece, NY: Cindy Lee Wedel (White) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on July 6, 2021 at the age of 66. She is predeceased by her parents, Donald & Corrine White and many pets, including her beloved dog, Sable. She is survived by her loving husband of over 36 years, Charles A. Wedel; children, James Kanous, Tiffany Rose (Steven) Shea, and Brian Wedel; grandchildren, Taylor Rose Shea, Brooklyn Corrine Shea, Katie Elizabeth Shea, Cullen Michael Shea, and Marlaina Sauers; many dear family & friends.
Cindy’s family would like to thank Dr. John Robb for the many years of care he has shown the family, and a special heartfelt thanks to the Burn/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital for the love and very best care they gave to Cindy and her family during her final days.
Cindy will be dearly missed by all of those she touched with her love, kindness, and smile. She loved all animals, her travels and casino trips with her husband, watching the Bills win or lose “Go Buffalo!”, her job at The UPS Store, coffee and breakfast with Tiffany at their favorite diner, listening to thunderstorms on her front porch, and spending as much time with her family as possible. She will always be her children’s biggest fan and will forever be “Mama” to her grandchildren. Cindy has now joined her best friend and beloved mother in Heaven for coffee.
“Someday I’ll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me”
