Limestone, NY – Friday July 9, 2021 at the age of 80. Sigmund is predeceased by his wife Judy Degitz, his mother Dorothy Borkowski and father Paul Degitz. He is survived by daughter’s Tammy Degitz (Randy), Kimberly Leidich (John), Tracy Thompson (Michael), son Sigmund J. Degitz Jr. (Julie) and 4 grandchildren Casey Yarbrough, Haley Thompson and Tyler Thompson and Augustus Degitz. Sigmund worked as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed word working, building furniture, games and cutting boards and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and trout fisherman. He also enjoyed playing golf with his children and their spouses. Sigmund is a Veteran of the United States Army. A special thanks to the 2nd floor staff at St. Ann’s Community that cared for him in the advanced stages of his disease.
