It is with great sadness that I am writing this. I did not know except for what Kent has shared with his AHS Class of 67 friends. I know there has got to be a hole in each and every family members hearts but those holes will fill with memories you have of her one of these days. Even though I didn’t know her, I know she was a very special person who now is without any pain or discomfort and she is always going to be with you – find a penny on the ground look to the heavens and know she is looking back at you because she sent you that penny to let you know she is looking down on you. God bless each and everyone of you as you take this new journey thru life.
May God be with the family and give each of you strength and
comfort knowing she is in heaven looking down on each of you
with all her love. Cherish each memory and love she gave to
each of you through the years. Remember she is at peace and in God’s hands.
As I stand on this vessel a new journey begins. I can see friends and family on the seashore waving, some are crying, but they know my new journey is just beginning
They grow smaller in size as I move farther and farther away from the shore that I just left, until they are just a spec on the horizon.
I know they are still there, it’s just me that is moving away. I slowly turn my attention to the direction of my new journey and there I see growing on the horizon a different group of people. As move closer I feel the love and compassion swell in my heart as I come to realize that these people are friends and family that have taken this journey before me!
I eventually reach the shore and step off into their loving arms. I’m welcomed into this new place and I realize that my journey has not ended; it’s just taken a new road and a new beginning.
God Bless you and your family.
She was a lovely lady. We will all miss her over here in the UK. I especially remember her charming personality, life is a brief moment in time, we should all use it to the greatest extent. I know Sue did.
With fond memories
Our Southern Belle has flown away. What a loss. What a treasure she was from her wonderful treats to her indomitable nature. She bubbled and glowed through her health problems. Loved her telling me about someone who offered to correct her sounthern accent (exaggerated purposefully at times she admitted). She had one, but truly not noticable. Also loved the special celebrations at the studios of WXXI on Fat Tuesdays. She took a cart around with a special dish and handed out beads along the route. I have several beads hanging along with my necklaces on a wall. They are a colorful, warm reminder of Sue (Dinah).
So very sad Sue has died but so very happy I had the privilege of knowing her. She and Ken were a very special match.
My love and blessings to Ken and the family. I just know you must have some exceptional memories of this remarkable lady. May she rest in peace.
Love and hugs,
Dolores
