Susan Anna Lew passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 13, 2021 in Rochester, New York at the age of 72. She was predeceased by her Father, Yuen Lew and is survived by her Mother, Lois Lew, brother Arthur Lew and sons, Blake and Derek Miller.
Sue helped her family operate a successful restaurant in downtown Rochester from 1968-2007. The Cathay Pagoda was one of the cities first and largest Chinese restaurants and besides a loyal local following also hosted such guests as Katherine Hepburn, Marcel Marceau, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Ozzy Osbourne and Joe Frazier.
She especially enjoyed painting, working in her garden and was an excellent cook. Her proudest achievements were her sons Blake and Derek who she showered with Love and was Loved in return. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to DAV, the disabled veterans of America. The family will have a private service to mourn and celebrate her memory.
