Hamlin, NY: Judy Kathleen Ratajczak, formerly Turner and Slattery, passed away peacefully on January 10th, 2022, at age 73 after a short illness.
She was born April 24, 1948, in Buffalo, NY to John Roberts and Edythe Schurr. Judy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert. She is survived by daughter Erin Slattery (Jason Yerry), son Michael Slattery (Kathy), grandsons Michael, Shawn and Evan, granddaughter Cadence, one great-grandchild, Oakley, and other loving family, stepfamily, and friends.
Judy worked various jobs throughout her life including Carhart Photo, Security, Home Health Care and Clerical work. She was a remarkable artist with a love of animals and wildlife. In her younger years, she was an avid horse rider, competing in barrel racing. She also was an accomplished gardener. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She touched everyone she knew, and the world shined brighter with her in it.
