March 27, 2022 at age 80. Joseph is predeceased by his wife Linda (in 2014), parents Guerino and Jennie Lozzi and brother-in-law Gary Cochardo. He is survived by his four daughters, Jennifer Voss (James), Peggy Lozzi, Erika Howard (William) and Rebecca Lozzi.
Joseph leaves 7 grandchildren; Dustin and Andrew Cichon (Peggy), Nicholas (Papa’s NJ), Louis (fiancée Alison Hayes), Maria and Katarina (Papa’s K’Bella) Voss (Jennifer) & Gabriella Goldinger (Rebecca) and sister Jeanie Donlon (Patrick), sister-in-law Vaughn Shawkey (James) and Barbara Cochardo (Gary).
Joseph was a 1959 graduate of Union Endicott High school, and went on to receive both a Bachelors and Master’s degree in education from Cortland college.
Joseph worked best as his own boss and was involved in several startups and worked in sales most of his life.
A lover of music, wine, dancing, golf, horse racing, trivia, and socialization. Joe was happiest when surrounded by those who enjoyed life. Joe taught his girls and grandkids to love sports and be persistent in every endeavor. In the last few years Joe was fortunate to find love again with his companion Joan Carpenter.
The legacy of Joseph will carry on in the actions and hearts of all who knew and loved him.

I am so saddened to learn of your dad’s death. Please know Joe was very special to me. I wish you all much comfort and courage to get through this and I hope peace will come soon. I will miss him. My heart goes out to you.
