Hamlin, N.Y., Stephen “Steve” Dunigan (age 75) passed away on July 29th, 2022 peacefully early in the morning. He is predeceased by parents, James and Audrey Dunigan. Survived by his loving Girlfriend of nine years Bonnie Pecore and her Daughter Anna, Brother Bruce Dunigan, Daughter Tammy Dunigan, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, many friends and loved ones.
Steve served in the Fire Service for approximately 50 years across multiple states in many communities. He was a dedicated Fireman including receiving recognition for saving many lives. Steve was born in Rochester New York and raised in West Bloomfield where he attended Bloomfield Jr./Sr. Highschool. After which he moved to Florida where he owned his own carpet business while serving the local volunteer fire department as an officer.
We all have an opportunity to celebrate Steve at the Hamlin VFW August 6th, 2022. Calling hours 3-5pm, service at 5pm. In lieu of any contributions, Steve would appreciate supporting the Hamlin Morton Walker Fire Department Station #3 with either time, talent or donation.
