Very sorry to hear of Al’s passing. I am not articulate enough to express in a few words how much the time I spent at and outside of work with Al meant to me. I know our road trips were often time away from his family, and I appreciate your sharing him with us. I know how much you all meant to him. I still think of him often, and will continue to do so. Rest well my friend, you have earned it.

I worked with Al for many years at Kodak. We traveled to China together many times, as well as other countries and companies. He was the nicest guy, and everybody loved him. He was a good Engineer and sought after on project teams. I lost touch with him after Kodak but have fond memories of our time together. Very sorry to hear of him passing, and sorry for your loss.

    Fran,
I never met Al (at least I don’t believe I did), but knowing you & your kids, I want to send along my condolences.

While it’ll take some adjusting to living life w/o him, it can be–& will be–done. Treasure the memories you have; they will help you get through this difficult time as well as challenging times that lie ahead.

I’m sorry for you, but from what I read, I’m happy for him.

Peace & blessings to all you.

I am so saddened to lose my first cousin. Alan and I spent lots of time together when we were young. Alan and I went fishing together in northern New York and enjoyed a trip to Vermont. We went on several double dates in high school. In later years, our two families spent enjoyable times together. My condolences to Fran and all the family. I am still recovering from double hip surgery and cannot travel for the funeral Love, Cousin Paul.

    Fran,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Al for 3 years in building 9 at Kodak Park. I got to know him very well and considered him a good friend. I found him to be respectful and helpful to all the people we worked around and with. He always found a way to say something positive about a person and avoiding anything negative. He was an all round nice guy. Again I’m sorry for you and your family’s loss.
