Larry touched my life. I remember with great fondness our philosophy and political discussions in his home while in high school and junior college. The sense of intellectual curiosity, love of life, and laughter stand out in my memory. His presence at my wedding later graced the occasion even more.
As in time lapse photography, I reconnected with Larry about 10 years ago after too long apart. It was such a joy to meet his family. He had told me of how precious Elsie and his boys were to him. Our visit gave me a glimpse into his treasure of a family.
It is with great sadness that I heard of his passing. Feeling him so near, and yet so far.
Peace be with him, and his dear family.
Larry was my favorite cousin. Although we hadn’t seen each other in a number of years, we had many cross-country conversations that lasted for hours. I was so hoping that he and Elsie would be able to take a long-awaited trip out west to see me but it was not meant to be. We saw eye-to-eye on so many things and it was a joy to hear his chuckle–it always made me laugh. I’ll miss you, Larry.
