Brighton: April 23, 2015 at age 89. Predeceased by mother, Gussie Gissin and husband, Louis Maroz. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Best and Rona Maroz.

Sylvia will remain in my memory as an intelligent no nonsense person. She was very in tune with family and Rochester. Although we did not speak often, our conversations were always meaningful. Your loss is a loss to all of the Gissins.
