Rochester, NY : Mary Elizabeth Sekel at age 68.
Predeceased by her Parents Irene and Donald McSween. Her Sisters; Renie McSween and Katie DeSautel.
She is survived by her daughters Jessica Northrup and Mellisa Northrup. Her Granddaughter Adriana Rose Mary Orcutt. Her sister Gwenn (Don) Erickson and their children Laura (Craig), Jamie and Brian (Julie). Her Brothers; Bill McSween, Michael (Amy) McSween, Don (Debbie) McSween. Many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was Jamie Loose and Trevor McSween’s Godmother.
Mary attended Our Lady Of Mercy High School in Detroit. She was an avid and loyal University of Michigan fan. GO BLUE!
She was a faithful Detroit Lions fan.
As a true McSween, she was a hockey enthusiast. One of her proudest moments was watching her youngest brother get inducted to the Rochester Amerks Hall of Fame in 2005.
She worked for Bosdyks Restaurant in Rochester, NY for many years. Her last employment was with Olympia Bar and Restaurant in Gates, NY for 20 years.
A special thanks to the palliative care team at Rochester Regional Health, especially Dr. Erin Klinkman and her devoted nurse Jeffrey Attwood.
Her Celebration of Life will be at the Olympia Bar and Restaurant on Saturday January 7th at 4PM, 2380 Lyell Ave, Rochester, NY 14606.
The McSween family held a private celebration of life in Detroit over Christmas.

Mary was a great sister-in-law. She was very strong and caring. She had a good sense of humor and was a dedicated, hard worker. I will miss her very much. as will many others she knew and loved.
