Garnett A. Rogers passed away January 24th, 2023 at the age of 55. He was born on August 2nd, 1967 in Alexandria Bay, NY and attended Hammond Central School. Garnett is predeceased by his mother Mayferd and his sister Tammy. He is survived by his two daughters Samantha Olsen and Bailey Rogers, along with her fiancé Justin Robinson and their daughter Hadley. He is additionally survived by his father, Lyle Rogers. Garnett was the youngest of 7 children and is also survived by his older siblings Dawn, Lyle, Marty, Tom, Laura, and Carly along with their spouses and many nieces and nephews.
Garnett was a volunteer fireman for 20 years, which brought him great pride. His biggest pride in life; however, was being a father and most recently a grandfather. Garnett’s life revolved around his family and most specifically his children. Garnett enjoyed watching football and NASCAR and going to the racetrack on Friday nights. He had a contagious laugh and wore a permanent smile on his face and was known to always be dancing.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Garnett on February 11th, 2023 from 1-4pm at the Redwood Fire Hall, where he served as a volunteer fireman for many years.

I haven’t seen Garnet in 38 years I thought I’d look him up I’m very sad to find here he was a childhood friend my condolences to his family
Our condolences to the Rogers family . The Doherty’s had a cottage in Rossie and my nephew Mark MacKay was a friend of Garnett when they were young and Carly and her two girlfriends Alice and Shelley came to Ottawa to visit with us when they were teenagers. So sorry for you loss.
