Valarie Mancini - Rochester Cremation

Valarie Lynn Mancini, 65, of Shortsville, New York, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2023 due to health problems.

Valarie was the first of four daughters, born on September 17, 1957 to Walter M. Tallons and Sandra (Lounsbury) Tallons in Olean, New York. Valarie graduated from Churchville-Chili High School in 1975.

Valerie Lynn Tallons was married to Michael Angelo Mancini on Saturday, May 19, 1977, later divorced. In the time they were together they had two children Michael Angelo Mancini II born February 17, 1997 and Kristen Denise Mancini born May 11, 1980.

Valarie was a pioneer in the legal profession leading the way for other woman as a paralegal and worked with some of the area’s most prestigious attorneys throughout the 90’s in the Rochester, New York area. Valarie also had a talent for fine art and graphic design. More recently in the past several years she enjoyed giving air brushed tattoos and face painting to children and adults alike on Saturdays at The Windmill Farm and Craft Market located in Penn Yan, New York with her close, dear friend Mary Record, they shared a small shop known as Rare Earth.

Valarie was predeceased by her father Walter M. Tallons and daughter Kristen Denise Mancini. She is survived by her son Michael Angelo Mancini II; mother Sandra Carol Tallons; three sisters, Kelly Kohler (Steven), Karen Ricci and Michele Pelletier; granddaughters Morgan Alexis Bond, Kavina-Lynne Marie Georgetti, and Hannah Elizabeth Postlethwaite.

Friends and Family may attend a Memorial Visitation and Celebration of Life gathering on Tuesday, March 14th from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Road, Greece, New York, 14626.

    Jim and I had so many fond memories of Val in Sodas. We had a lot of fun! Our hearts go out to the family and friends. RIP Val. May God open his arms to you and give strength to those you loved so much.
