Karla Jael Militello was born September 19th, 1985, in
Milagro, Ecuador to Fanni and Carlos Delgado. Karla is
survived by her beloved brother Alex and his wife Chari, niece
Eileen; sister Kesia and husband Danny, and nieces Keyda and
Daniela. She also left behind her kind and loving husband,
David, whom she soon learned to call, as everyone knew him,
Doozer.
Karla will also be greatly missed by her Family in
Rochester, NY, including David and Kathleen Militello, Angela
Militello, Mary Mancuso, extended Family from Ecuador, and
many, many dear Friends.
Karla loved serving her God, Jehovah, from the time she
was a small child. She was baptized in 1997. She loved dancing
and spending time out in nature. She loved swimming so much
that she was always prepared by keeping a bathing suit in her
purse at all times. Karla, for many years, Pioneered and helped
many come to know her God Jehovah. Karla was loved by many
especially the older ones in the congregation. Those who knew
her were taken by her sweet spirit, kind nature, and sense of
humor.
Karla arrived in Rochester, New York, in October, 2014,
having finally received her Visa after an overwhelmingly long
wait. Her fiancé at the time, David, had all but given up on her
ever being able to come to America. To everyone’s surprise she
showed up here, changing everyone’s life who came to know her.
David and Karla were married in a formal ceremony on January
3, 2015, before friends and family from both Continents. They
began their life with many hopes, dreams, and aspirations. They
settled in and together became a part of the Irondequoit
Congregation.
Far too soon after starting her new life Karla began to
suffer an agonizing battle with deep-seated emotional issues.
She sought and received medical help to regain her life back but
one day…
Karla is now at peace and in the safest place of all–in
Jehovah’s memory. We all loved her and she will be greatly
missed until we are all reunited in the promised Paradise we
are all awaiting.
