Brockport, NY: March 26, 2023 at age 70. Ruth is predeceased by her father, William Dettman Sr, special stepfather, Robert Gottorff, brothers, William Dettman Jr and Steven Dettman. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Carpenter Gottorff, brothers, John Dettman, Terry Dettman Sr and wife June, sisters, Bonnie Dettman, Cheryl Ann Dettman McBride, god-daughter Kaitlyn Natale, several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, several cousins, aunt and uncle Mildred and Ron Schrlau, special friend Annmarie Houseman.
Thanks to Dr. Jaan and staff at Rochester General Hospital for their compassionate care. Ruth was blessed with many special and very close friends. The family would like to say Thank you for all the support you have given to her and our family members.
Rest in heaven Aunt Ruth! You are now with your fur babies and just relaxing with no more pain! Love you! See you on the other side ❤️
