She had many friends who loved her and will miss her deeply. What a woman! Pizazz, feisty, loving and so funny! With much love, Mary
I’ve never truly felt a loss this deep. My heart is shattered and will have a missing piece for the rest of my life. She had the most vivid and big personality of anyone I know and will ever know. This is not just the loss of my grandmother, but the loss of someone who played the role of my mother as a baby. Our love for each other was infinite. She was blunt and honest. She wasn’t afraid to tell people how she felt, but she also was fiercely loving to the people she cared for. In so many ways, I am like her, but she was also one of a kind. I learned resilience, unconditional love, honesty, and authenticity from her. I would not be here today if she did not step in to raise me and care for me. She absolutely loved to take way too much time to get ready (she was a hairdresser), she loved beauty supplies, she loved art, she loved me as much as I loved her, and was the smartest person I know. Because she was like a mother to me, but also grandmother, my name for her was “Honeymom.”
She was there for me through every single life event, every low, every high. In her honor, take WAY too long to get ready for every single event, love yourself, and be authentically yourself as she was. Honeymom, this loss will cut deep for the rest of my life, but I will continue to be who I am today because of your love. I love you more than I could ever put into words. We liked to call you an “edgy grandma” and I know I’ll feel you around me in all the wild and fun things I come across. Big hearty laughs, exciting dancing, art, peacocks… I will think of you. Thank you for fiercely loving me and protecting me. I love you my girl.
Millie was the best grandma to my best friend Katie and an inspiration to all! I am so happy I was able to spend time with her and get to know her. May she rest in peace 🪽🩷
Honeymom, you will be missed and will always be loved. Thank you for taking care of the woman who grew up to me my wife. You raised a wonderful woman and I will always love you for that. Rest easy honeymom.
I always remember her laughing and smiling, and being contagious with both! She loved her family and I know will be missed greatly.
I am lucky to have known someone as unique and as full of life as Millie or as I knew her, “Honeymom.” I am forever indebted to her for her impact on my best friend, Katie, and pouring so much love and life into her and her family. My prayers are with the Rothstein and Boothby family. You will be so missed, Honeymom! Thank you for all you have done for those you love!
I am so glad our paths crossed when your Katiebug got married. I was also privileged to meet your Karen. You had an infectious spirit. I remember I fell in love with the dress you wore to the wedding. I looked for one and couldn’t find anything even close. Walk with the angels. Everyone will be elegant in the clouds. Katie will be fine, because you will be a little guardian Angel perched on her shoulder. You taught her to survive graciously.
I had the privilege of growing up down the street from her because Karen and I were together constantly. She yelled at us, swore at us, and threatened to kick our asses on a daily basis. Wouldn’t have had it any other way. She even allowed me to babysit Katie (Bugg) when she needed a night out. Spent a good chunk of my childhood with Millie, Don and Karen. RIP Millie.
My dearest sister,
Oh Millie! I am
Devastated. Met my match when you came into my life. We were more than sister in laws. We were identical twins. Thank you for loving my Bro as you did. You have his life meaning. I will miss you so! I love you dear Mills!
I am so sorry Karen for your loss. Your mom was always so nice and so fun to talk to when she called the center looking for you. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family
I am sorry for the familiy’s loss. Millie was a great mother-in -law and she will truly be missed. RIP Mama!
I am so sorry for your loss. I took care of Millie here at the insurance agency and any phone call or visit from her made my day. She was so funny and naughty and loving and one of my absolute favorites. She spoke so lovingly of her family and I can’t imagine what you are all going through. She was much too young to leave. May God bless and comfort you all.
Millie, I was a member of the Funraisers with you for many years and I also shared the Silver Sneakers class at the Y with you. You were a dear friend. Rest in peace Millie. thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
Rose
I was shocked to hear of Millie’s passing. We grew up together so I have many wonderful memories of our childhood and beyond. We were in each other’s weddings! I am so sorry that we will never get together again to share stories and laughs about Holy Rosary, our brothers, our childhood, dance classes, and all the other joys we shared.
God bless you , Millie, for all the wonderful joy you brought to all. God bless your soul and I know one day we will meet again and the heavens will not be able to hold all our laughter!
