Meseret (Mesi) is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.
Mesi grew up, and later attended Haile Selassie I University in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia.
After many years of professional career in the capital, Addis Abeba, she immigrated to Rochester, NY where she lived until her death in 2023.
Among other things Meseret loved children and enjoyed reading.
