After a hard-fought battle with an aggressive cancer Theresa L. Floor (Franchi), 60, of Wayland, NY passed away peacefully with her children by her side at Strong Memorial Hospital in the early hours of Sept. 9, 2023.
Theresa, who went by Terrie to family and friends, was born on July 21, 1963 in Ronkonkoma, NY to the late Roy Franchi. Terrie was a loving and devoted Mother to her three children Candice Marullo, Melissa (Derrick) Balinsky and Tom Marullo, Jr.
Terrie had a love for the outdoors, especially camping. She loved reading, playing games, her pets and autumn, specifically the Halloween holiday. But her favorite distraction was spending time with her children and grandchildren who she loved endlessly. Terrie will always be remembered for her beauty, always having a smile on her face and her huge heart. Some nicknamed her “Mother Theresa” as she always cared for, loved and fed all her children’s friends in their younger years. She was a warm, loving and caring individual, a nurturing Mother and friend – always placing others first. “To know her was to love her.”
Terrie leaves to cherish her loving memory, her three loving children, eight wonderful grandchildren and a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
At Terrie’s request, services will be held privately with her children.
