Webster, NY: M. Phyllis Eygabroad passed away at age 84 on October 27, 2023. She was a graduate of East High School, long time employee of Blue Cross / Blue Shield, St. Rita Church parishioner, and Visiting Nurse Service volunteer.
She was predeceased by her sisters Ruth Ann Statt and Nancy Eygabroad, brother Charles Eygabroad, and sister-in-law Lucy Eygabroad. She is survived by nieces and nephews Karen (Joe) Tubiolo, Ruth (Danny) Armstrong, Patty Gervasi, Keith Gillette, Eugene Gillette, Susan (Grayson) Shoun, Rita (Dave) Garretson, Cyndi Eygabroad, Ron (Jane) Eygabroad, brother-in-law Dick Barnes, and other loved ones.
A funeral mass is scheduled at St. Rita Church, Webster, NY, on Monday, November 6, at 10:30 AM. The service will be streamed live on St Rita’s website. Family will receive mourners prior to mass at 9:45. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St Rita School Scholarship Fund, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster, NY 14580.
My condolences to the Eygabroad family. My late mother Helen Thompson was a long time friend of her mother Dorothy and have many memories when I was younger of spending a lot of time with the family as well if it wasn’t for Ruth she introduced my big brother Jack to my sister in law Joan,both worked together for Rochester Telephone in the early 50’s
