Born in Goa, India and raised in Vasai, India, he spent the majority of his life in Rochester, NY. He was an engineer prior to fulfilling his lifelong dream of starting his own company, Gholkar’s, Inc. He had a genuine passion for helping those that are less fortunate, focusing his efforts, among other things, on children’s education. His love for Indian classical music and helping those less fortunate was only surpassed by his love for family and friends. He touched the lives of countless people through his generosity, some of whom, sadly, will never have a chance to meet him.
For those wishing to offer their condolences, visiting hours are from 4-6pm, on Saturday, July 11th at the family residence.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to: Theodore Roosevelt School #43, 1305 Lyell Ave., Rochester, NY 14606.
