Rush NY: Age 69, died on July 8, 2015 after happy and productive life, surrounded by friends and family, to the strains of cello music by his wife, Kathy Lewis. He lived life doing the things he loved–backpacking, astronomy, bee keeping, maple syruping and more.
After an illustrious research career at Kodak he founded InSite Inc, moving mountains with software. He will be missed by many as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, colleague, mentor and friend.
Friends and family of Dick Chasman are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 1 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Cold Comfort Farm, the home created by Dick and Kathy. 70 Stoneybrook Rd., Rush NY. We will have a barbecue and share our best memories of Dick. Please carpool if possible, as parking space is limited. Dress is casual.

Directions: Take Rt. 390 to the Rush exit (Exit 11).
Turn onto Rt. 15 heading South (a right turn for most people).
At the traffic light, turn left onto Rt. 251. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 15A.
In front of St. Joseph’s Church (where Rt. 15A veers off to the left) you need to turn right onto Rush-West Rush Rd.
In about 1/2 mile you will see Stoneybrook Rd. on the left. Turn onto it, and go about 1/4 mile until you see a mailbox with #70.
Turn left onto the gravel driveway and come up a long hill.
Watch for people directing you to a parking space on the grass.
