Terence “Terry” Klinetob, Jr.

Terry

Brockport: Terry passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by his mother Donna and sister Lynette. Survived by his loving family: wife, Kimberly (Sisco) Klinetob; children, Matthew, Andrea, Neil, and Alissa; father, Terence (Susan) Klinetob and sister, Debbie (Paul) Jamar; niece and nephew Paul and Stacey Jamar.

Terry earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and later became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Terry touched many lives over the years and was loved for his wonderful sense of humor and kind soul. Terry enjoyed playing his guitar, singing and running. He will be missed and remembered by many.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lipson Cancer Center and Wilmont Cancer Center for their excellent care and kindness. Memorial donations can be made to the Sharon M. I want to express my condolences to all of Terry’s family, his coworkers and his friends. I was blessed to know Terry as my PT many years ago and was impressed by his kindness and drive to help people. More recently, I had the pleasure of working with him, and I do mean it was a pleasure to work with him. He often had a joke or two to help us start our days during morning meetings. I was always impressed with his capacity to remember things and the vast knowledge he had. I didn’t realize what a strong person he was until the last year. Wow, what a guy, to go through what he went through and still maintain his sense of humor and positive outlook on life. What a Man! I am awestruck by his strength and loving concern for his family. He loved my crazy animal stories and I especially was fond of him because he’s the only one that believed I saw that bear at Lakeside 🙂

    Kim and family,
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Terry’s passing. I am so glad I was able to reconnect with Terry two years ago. We worked together at LMH in the early 90’s when he was in PT and I worked in nutrition and we met up two years ago when he attended a conference at my facility. He was a great guy who always had a way to make me laugh. When I heard that he had cancer and how he fought that so valiantly I was amazed. I am sorry for your loss, he put up the best fight he could.

  36. Michael Stapleton on August 3, 2015 at 11:32 am

So glad he did not go through a prolonged period of sufferring. Although he was only with us a short time, he made a tremendous impact at Thompson Health. It was such a pleasure and privilege to work with him again. I will miss his dedication to our Residents and his awesome sense of humor. He treasured his children and Kim you were the love of his life. I know he will watch over all of us. Mike

  37. Dan Richardson on August 3, 2015 at 2:14 pm

I will miss Terry, but the fond memories of him will last forever. He was a pleasure to work with with and always displayed a sense of humor. Maybe a splash of cynicism would sneak into our conversations as well. His ironic humor, great abilities and sincerity are my lasting memories. He was humble and easy going. I want be be more like Terry.

When my husband told me that Terry had died, I felt stunned. We knew he was still battling, but like so many have already expressed, it’s hard to believe that Terry is not here to continue to brighten this world. He will be so missed. I am praying that you all feel the strong presence of the Lord in these days and years of sorrow ahead and that you are strengthened by it. We have a faithful God that loves us and I’m certain that he loves Terry…and all of you too. With all of my love.
