Ontario NY: January 31, 2016. Passed from this life at home after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, Dave; son, David Jr.; grandson, William; step-father, Richard Panneitz; sister, Cheryl Lynn Osinski; brother, James Michael Hawley; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Michael James Hawley; mother, Hilda Mae (Greenwood) Panneitz; brothers, Charles P. (Lorraine), Richard W., Ivan C., and Michael Hawley.
Janette was a lifetime resident of Ontario, graduating from Wayne Central in 1969. She entered and made a career in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Msgt, 1st Sgt, then returning to Ontario and continuing to work.
A private gathering for family and close friends was held as wished.

Yes, I did read it and thought it was so slmpie: feminism is equality and choice. How has feminism become a dirty word? I read a comment on a blog a while back, that there are waves of feminism because the patriarchy keeps fighting back. Thought that was quite interesting. As for empowerment through stripping, there was a great line in Ariel Levy’s Female Chauvinist Pigs about how pretending to be a woman whose job it is to pretend to sexually want any bloke is hardly empowering. Or something along those lines.
