Greece NY: May 19, 1922 – March 11, 2016. Age 93. The heavens truly gained an angel. Predeceased by Louis Sarfaty (husband), John Dubenko (brother), Julia Kozemko (sister), Irene Dubenko (sister), Clara Guay Davis (sister), Teddy Kozemko (nephew), and Sam Kozemko (nephew). She is survived by her children; Micki Superczynski (George), Debbie Schulik (Marty), Linda Reynolds (Hugh), and Ken Sarfaty. Her grandchildren; Krystal Lynn Schulik, Brittany Ann Schulik, Danielle Alisa Schulik, Gina Wilcox (Russell), Clay Berardi (Jamie), Mykel Sarfaty-Antinetto(Frank), Liana Sarfaty, Dan Reynolds (Lidia). Many special nieces, nephew, caregivers, and friends; Debbie Moon (Travis), Anne Sheffer (Glen), Michael Kozemko, Anna Zajac, Thomas Enders, Sylvia Conroy, and Dee Burris. She was a Special “GG” to a handful of Great Grandchildren whom adored her so very much! And she touched the lives of many others.
Frances remained sharp, wise, and witty all the way through her finals days where she passed quietly and comfortable. Frances was a super fan of her NY Yankees, collected beautiful angels, enjoyed her country music, and idolized Neil Diamond. Her smile lit up a room and she was easily joyed. She placed people and animals on the same pedestal and respected and cherished all forms of life. Above all, she loved with every ounce in her sweet being. She will be missed sadly, but the memories will never fade. WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK.
Frances’s family will hold a Celebration of Life at Riverside Cemetery, Chapel of Peace on May 14, 2016 from 10am-12pm. (2650 Lake Avenue. Rochester, New York. 14612). Reception gathering to follow at the Schulik home.
I remember so much about your mom. She was humble and kind, but threw shoes when she needed to quiet her kids. She was quiet yet so strong. Went places by herself with no fear. She made sure that you were comfortable and well fed if you went to her home. She smiled more than frowned. I always enjoyed her company. You will be missed Fran. I love you. Karen
