Henrietta NY: Passed on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, age 93. Survived by his children, Kurt (Cathy) Kubitz and Sandy Enders, sister Jean Ingham, grand-daughter Laramy Enders and fiancée Benny Goller, grandson Demian (Rachel) Enders, and many nieces and nephews. Born July 3, 1923, in Penfield, NY, Roy was predeceased by his wife Lois (McBride), his parents Harold and Margaret (Furstenberg) Kubitz; sister and brother-in-law Doris and Herb Wallace.
Roy served in the Army during WWII and worked for Eastman Kodak Company for 38 years. In retirement, he volunteered for the American Red Cross for over 25 years. He was an avid golfer into his 90’s and enjoyed watching his favorite soccer team, England’s Manchester United, both in person and on television.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Brian D. Yirinec and his staff at Pluta Cancer Center and the nurses and staff at UR’s Visiting Nurse Services for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to Pluta Cancer Center, 125 Red Creek Drive, Rochester, NY 14623.
