Rochester NY: 5/28/63-10/7/16. Al passed away suddenly, surrounded by loved ones. Al was predeceased by his Mum (Agnes) Margaret Gowans. He is survived by his wife, the mother of his son, Kathleen M. Gowans, his father Robert (Kathie Byrne) Gowans, his siblings Alison (Jesse) Diehl and Colin (Gloria Knox) Gowans, step-siblings Michelle (Ryan) Hart and Shannon DeLorenzo, his children Morgan, Amanda, and Alan R. Gowans, his nephews Andrew and Carl Diehl, his step-nieces and nephews Taylor, Brianna, Hailey, Callan, and Cormac, and extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 @ 3 P.M., at the First Congregational Church of the United Church of Christ, 65 Church Street, Spencerport, New York. His burial will be private at the request of the Family.
