Fairport NY: Age 82, passed away October 11, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born December 14, 1934 in Canandaigua, NY to the late William La Due and Grace (Valder) La Due.
Richard was a graduate of Gorham High School and Finger Lakes Community College. After serving in the Military, he worked at Mobil Chemical Company in the Credit Department for 33 years before retiring.
Along with this parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brother William La Due and his sister Mary (La Due) DeAngelo and his parents.
Richard is survived by his wife Shirley (Hanson) La Due who he married on August 29, 1983, her children Nancy Danielson of Perry, NY, Cynthia Chislett & Jeffery Danielson, both of Fairport, NY, a sister Arlene (Louie) Rossi of Canandaigua, several nieces & nephews & several grand-nieces & grand-nephews.
Interment will be at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY at the convenience of the family. Services to celebrate Dick’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Finger Lakes Community College or Lollypop Farm Humane Society of Greater Rochester.
