A retiree of The University of Rochester at Strong Memorial- Linda served as an integral part of bedside and research for the Neo-Natal division for over 30 years. As a devoted nurse she showed compassion and a positive presence to lift the spirits of the families, comforting the babies in their absence. She had an individual love for each one of her patients. Being a published author contributing to research and development in the field of respiratory studies, her education, experience, and commitment assisted in the ongoing survival and care of these premature infants.
Her health issues took her back to the very hospital where she proudly helped so many others -finally surrendering to her own physical struggles. Her family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Strong Memorial for their attentive and compassionate care.
A private family memorial will be held and donations to the Neo-Natal Care Unit at Strong in her honor would be appropriate.
