Dansville, NY, died on January 20, 2017 at the age of 68 following an illness. Born in Hornell, New York, he was a longtime resident of Dansville. He served in the US Army for two years, and retired from NYS Corrections in 2008 after 25 years of service. Paul was an avid reader and held many talents – a skilled woodworker, artist, musician, and carpenter. He had a passion for music and home improvement projects, and enjoyed time with friends and family on his front porch.
Paul will be loved and missed by his three daughters, Patti (Rich) Furness, Paulie O’Sheaghan, and Julie (Matt) Alpert; his sisters, Ellen Mattice and Karen Dieter; five grandchildren, Kayla, Kelcie, Jessica, Rebekah, and Greyson; one great grandchild, Karter; several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Alma (Edwards) Sheehan; two sisters, Leah Blankley and Phyllis Manaher.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes, no services will be held.
