Richard A Mincer Sr. 79 years old resident of East Rochester. Widowed by his loving wife Anna Fabrizi Mincer Survived by his 6 children, Richard Jr, Lahr, Leigh, Scott, Mark, Amy. his 5 grandchildren Richard, Alashia, Samantha, Erika, Chelsea. He was a loving brother to his 7 siblings Marion, Ann, Ray, Ronnie, Bob, Jerry, Noel. Most importantly survived by his pride and joy his dog Bella. Richard Sr, enjoyed working in his garage and working on anything with a engine. Also sitting on his porch talking to everyone who walked his house. Richard was a family man and a wonderful friend. He was known by most but loved by all.
Richard’s visitation will be held Saturday, October 26th, 10 AM-12 Noon at First Baptist Church, 119 W. Elm Street, East Rochester. His Memorial Service will follow visitation at 12 Noon. A reception will follow the service.

Uncle Dick could tell the best stories. There were stories of his family, of his childhood, and some crazy things that he did in his youth. He had a smile and a laugh that he shared with everyone, and he always brightened my day. He was a wonderful man with the biggest heart. I will miss him, and hope that he is finally free of pain. My sympathies to Dick’s family. I knew Dick as a fellow Canandaiguan and a Legionnaire. In the rare times I saw him it was always a joy as we kidded about Cdga. His wife, Anna, was also a wonderful person.

My Uncle Dick , was always a little more than a Uncle to me.. He was a mentor, friend, and the older brother i never had. From the past Sunday dinner’s we used to have a Lahr’s house. Especially this year. When we spent so much time together by driving me to appointments. When I was unable to drive. Later we both would come back home or a restaurant and talk for hours, reminiscing about family things that took place over 60 years. I cherish the time we spent together. And now there is a big empty hole in my heart since your passing. You are loved and will surely be missed. Rest in peace dear man, you deserve it. My heartfelt condolences to the Mincer family. I had the pleasure of knowing Dick (and Anna) for the past twenty years. We always looked forward to seeing Dick and Anna at every Republican function in Monroe County. They were the backbone of our party. Dick and I also ate breakfast together almost every weekday for the past five years. The laughter he provided cannot be measured. He spoke often of his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters and of course his Bella. He will be missed by all who knew him.
