I enjoyed getting to know Ed. Sr. He loved to kid me about being a lawyer and made jokes about lawyers in general. Ed Jr. is married by my sister Carolyn. Ed. Sr.
also made my mother laugh! We had several holidays where Ed. Sr. was with us enjoying family time. He will be missed by all of us. Sincerely, Janice
We called Ed “Pooch” and we were in Rustic Riders together! I knew the family well and had a great time with Pooch and Helen and Billy and Buddy and Eddy Bill. Those were the best times of my youth and will never forget their guidance and encouragement with the horses! RIP Pooch!
As a 19-year old college student I had the good fortune to work with Ed as a mover helper the summer of 1984. I remember him showing me how to carry a clothes dryer out of a basement by myself (an impressive trick I have used since). I recall him speaking fondly and respectfully of his wife, which was not typical in the moving industry. I also learned a valuable lesson from Ed about the importance of human relationships compared to material possessions. Ed told me, “This is all just stuff. Remember, you never see a hearse pulling a U-haul trailer.” Godspeed, Ed. –Will Ingle
