Cheryl Ann Ghysel, age 64, of Henrietta, NY died on Sunday December 16th at Strong Hospital due to complications from Cardiopulmonary Hypertension. She is predeceased by her parents John, and Arlene (Florack) Ghysel, her sister June Ghysel, and her brother Stephen Ghysel. She is survived by her brother Kevin (Marcie) Ghysel and her nephew Brandon Ghysel and nieces Raychel, Arlene and Chaka and her beloved Sammy the Shih Tzu.
Cheryl loved her family more than anything and was active in the life of her nieces and nephew. She was an avid Elvis fan, and loved watching movies and playing cards. She worked in insurance for many years before she became ill.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Henrietta United Church of Christ on Friday December 21st at 3:00 PM, a reception will follow from 4-6PM in Fellowship Hall.
Kevin and Marcie would like to thank the Strong Memorial Hospital Palliative Unit for their care of Cheryl during her last few days. Donations can be made to the Henrietta United Church of Christ in Cheryl’s name.
