Rochester, NY: Lionel “Tuck” Yearwood passed away in his sleep on April 8th 2019 at the age of 66 in his home in Rochester New York.
Lionel is survived by his wife, Constance Yearwood, three daughters, Alecia, Chantel, and Juliet, his two son in laws, Omari and Jason, his eight grandchildren, Shiyan, Cameron, Samara, Elijah, Caden, Tristan, Skye, and Caleb, his siblings, Guy, Vincent, Dorothy, Keith, Barbara, Marva, and Sharon and his many many nieces and nephews.
Lionel was born to Keith Yearwood and Josephine Freeland in Antigua. He migrated to America in 1971 where he attended Bronx Community College and Cornell University. Tuck enjoyed photography on his free time and has taken pictures for many people. Tuck worked in the banking industry for years and has worked in hospitals before he retired. He was very social and loved talking about various things. If anyone ever had a history question, Tuck was the go to guy.
After Tuck and his wife married in 1978, they had 3 daughters. Tuck was a very present father and would often be seen toting his 3 girls around. He would always chaperone trips with his girls and would make sure people knew he was their dad. When he became a grandfather in 2001, that gave him even more happiness. Lionel loved his children and his grandchildren.
He will be missed by many friends and family.
