Wayne O’Donnell of Pittsford NY was born on March 12, 1977 and died peacefully in his home on June 11, 2019 at the age of 43. He is survived by his parents Carla and Danny O’Donnell, wife, Linda O’Donnell, two children Lillian and Dylan O’Donnell and his sister Kelly O’Donnell. Wayne spent most of his working career in the food and restaurant industry and enjoyed golf, fishing and family.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a service for Wayne at the Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford on Saturday June 15, 2019 at 11am. Reception to follow. In lieu of cut flowers, please bring perennial plants for a garden dedicated to Wayne.

Wayne was a good guy, never saw him angry or in a bad mood and he kept a smile when you could get one from him. My condolences to the family, my prayers of strength for you all during this difficult time.
I worked with Wayne for years. We always managed to have fun despite long hours of tedious restaurant work. Laughs, jokes, and ridiculous breakfast sandwiches. I hadn’t seen him in a really long time, probably since 2007, when I ran into him by chance in Scottsville in April. We hadn’t seen each other in so long he didn’t recognize me right away with no hair haha. Such an odd chance to see him one last time so recently. I’ve spent the last few days remembering how much fun we had working together, realizing that he was a part of my daily life for years. My heart goes out to Linda, whom I also worked with and knew very well, and their children. By the same chance I also ran into Linda last fall while grocery shopping. News like this (terrible as it is) wakes us up I think. Remembering Wayne is just as important as remembering that he has shown us how short and precious life is.
