Rochester, NY: Hendrik A. Alberda November 10, 1939 – August 4, 2019. Hendrik “Hank” was a kind, jovial, and well respected man. Born in the Netherlands, he came to the United States in the 1960’s. He is survived by his wife, Carol of 54 years, daughters Tanya Leibenguth and Renee(Anthony Jr.)Gelsomino, 3 grandchildren Jasmine, AJ, and Jesse Gelsomino, sister Gryt(Joop) Atsma of the Netherlands, dedicated and special friend Daniel Suykerbuyk, and little Amber.
Much gratitude is expressed to his nurse, Tatum from Lifetime Care, and to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center for their wonderful care and support. Hank will be greatly missed by many. Words can never express how I feel. You, Hank and us have been friends for over 35 years. We were more family than friends. I am so sorry for Hanks passing, but I do know he is healed. He will always be in my heart and be my “Hanky Poo”. He will be missed by many, but the memories we all made through the years will always be with us as he will.
