Spencerport, NY – August 25, 2019, at age of 19. Anthony Eduardo Capuano is survived by his loving parents, love of their life, Anthony Capuano and Colleen McHugh Capuano, favorite brother Michael Capuano, Grandmother Teresa Capuano, Uncle and Aunts, Armando (Terry), Capuano, Joanne Marzano, Mickey (John) Panek, Nancy (Tim) Schwalm, Jerry (Sharlene) McHugh, Stephen McHugh, Julie (Eric) Martin, Bill (Bitsy) McHugh, David (Jennifer) McHugh, and many cousins and other loving friends. Predeceased by Eduardo Capuano, Bill and Ollie McHugh and Clinton McHugh.
Our beloved son enjoyed many things. He had a passion for Robotics and technology. He was proudly an Eagle Scout. He loved spending time on Conesus Lake and water sports with his brother, uncle, aunt and cousin. No matter where he was, he was tinkering with things and never keeping his hands still. His antics will truly be missed by all that loved him.
Our family could not have made our son the man he was, without the friendship, support, and love that all have given him.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to what is closest to your heart in Anthony’s memory.
We will celebrate his life at Bearshire Restaurant at Braemar Country Club in Spencerport, NY, on Friday, August 30, 2019, any time between 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Anthony’s Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Spencerport, NY.
Julie and Eric, Sincere condolences on the loss of your nephew. Maybe rest in the peace of the Lord. Anne

Mr and Mrs Capuano I am deeply sorry for your loss Anthony was such a great, kind, and caring friend. Would always go out of his way to do something for you if he knew it was important. One of the only people I’ve ever known who I could have an intelligent yet funny conversation with. Such an awesome person to be around, will always the pranks we pulled, as he was always the mastermind behind them. He will forever be in my heart.
Stunned when I heard. I cannot imagine the sadness and grief that you and your family must be going through. I hope you all find peace.
Colleen, I feel your pain. I am so sorry. My condolences to your family. You have my deepest Sympathy.
So sorry for your loss. We will be keeping your family close in thought and prayer.
Tony, Colleen and Family,
We were shocked to hear of the tragic news about Anthony. He was a good friend to all our children Andrew (Scouts), Christopher (Football) and especially Ana (his classmate throughout the years). We occasionally saw him where he worked at OfficeMax and he was always such a pleasure to talk to. We can’t imagine how this has impacted you and your family. All we can do is pray for all of you to find peace in time. May Anthony find peace in heaven with the Father.
So sorry for your loss. Hope you are doing ok and able to support each other through such sad times. My heart goes out to you and to Anthony.
So very sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers.
I’m so sorry for your loss Mr. and Mrs. Capuano and Michael, he truly was such an amazing person. We lost touch after preschool but when I transferred to Soenverport, he took me under his wing, and many times we had to be moved away from each other because we talked too much. He did everything he could to help me in school, thank you for raising such an amazing, caring, and smart son. Whenever I saw him, he always could put a smile on my face, and knew exactly what to say when I needed a chuckle.
Colleen, Tony, and Michael, I will forever remember your sweet boy and his precious, mischievous smile! I can still see him on the baseball field with David and Michael. Dave loved throwing the ball with him. One of my favorite memories is seeing him and Chris driving up our driveway in the golf cart with that silly smile on his face after working at his grandma’s house one day. I remember thinking “Oh no, what’s Anthony up to now?” He always went out of his way to say hello and give me a hug. My heart hurts for you and can’t imagine the immense pain you are all feeling. Michael, You will always feel like another family member in the Brescia household and know that you are always welcome here!!!! Colleen, I find comfort in picturing Anthony up in heaven with your mom and dad, sitting by the piano listening to his grandpa play and laughing with his grandma. He will forever be remembered in our hearts.
We are shocked and saddened by this tragedy. I did not know Anthony personally but I believe my son Benjamin did. Nothing I can say can take away what you and your family are feeling right now. I hope you will be able to find some peace someday. Holding your family in our prayers.
Jennifer and Mary Daley
