Greece, NY: Shirley H. Gordon died September 2, 2019 in Rochester, NY at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her parents Leslie and Emma Homan, husbands Philip J. Shelton, Sr and Richard J. Gordon and her brother Leslie Homan, Jr. She lived in Patchogue, NY for many years, moved to Hernando, FL and had lived in Rochester for the past 2 years.
She is survived by her son Philip Shelton, daughter-in-law Amy Peters Wood, daughters Amy Anderson and Donna Wagner as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving mother and caregiver who shared her talent for crocheting beautiful items with others.
There will be a graveside memorial service at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 80 Jennings Avenue, Patchogue, NY on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 1 pm. Donations may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice in Rochester or to the charity of your choice.
