Diane: There were eight of us who worked at Three Crowns Dress Shop in Venice, FL. Your Mom was one of us. Five of us are still in touch. Four of us grouped together for lunch recently. This was the first time since covid hit us all. We all talked about not hearing anything from Barb. We had tried telephoning, of course the number was no longer in service. I decided this morning that I would try an obituary and here is beautiful Barb with her lovely smile. Carol brought Barbara to Venice twice after her move to Rochester. Sorry to read that Carol has passed away. Your Mom was a special friend we all loved. I have wonderful memories and pictures of good times we had together.
My deepest sympathy to all and a special greeting to Jim Fereley who drove her to East Aurora, NY to have lunch at the Roycroft Inn. It was close to where I spent summers in Buffalo, NY. It was the last time we were together. Jim and Mary, my husband Tony, daughter Pat, Barb and I had a wonderful afternoon together. My dear dear friend is missed.
