Webster/Fairport: Stanley A. (Stan) Senecal passed away from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 70 years old. Predeceased by his parents, George and Miriam (Ayles) Senecal and brother George E. He is survived by his wife, Flora (Adams) and sons: Stephen (Heather), Andrew (Abbey), and Nathan; grandsons: Aaron Senecal and Teagan Delozier with another little one on the way; brother: Jan, sisters: Bonnie (Bill) Eggert and Mary (Calvin) Morley, as well as many nieces and nephews and in-laws/outlaws. Last but not least, Coal Kitty.
The family would like to thank Stan’s extended work family at DGA Builders. For 40 plus years his strong work ethic helped to build the company’s reputation. His friends and colleagues at DGA have been incredibly supportive of both Stan and the family at this difficult time.
The family would like to thank Lifetime Care (Home Health Care and Hospice) for their exceptional care of Stan through his illness (specifically: Dan-O.T., Denise-P. T. , Jill-RN, Sarah-LMSW and Brianna-health aide); thanks to the ALS Association (Upstate NY Chapter) for their support and loan cupboard for the much needed equipment ; thanks to Dr. Rob Horowitz, Palliative Care at Strong Memorial Hospital
At Stan’s request, there will be no visitation or calling hours, however a Celebration of his Life will be held in late Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS TDI, 300 Technology Square, Suite 400, Cambridge, MA 02139, or any charity of your choice.
