Rochester, New York: Passed peacefully in the loving company of family on January 22, 2017 in Ocala, Florida. He was welcomed back to Heaven by his proud parents, his brother and the wagging tails of German Shepherds he cared so much about. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years and his devoted sons.
In addition to being a loving pillar of our family, Al served others as a dedicated member of many community service organizations during his life: the Rush Henrietta School Board, the Monroe County School Board Association, the Henrietta Youth Board the Niagara District Amateur Athletic Association Committee, the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Western N.Y. and the Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Professional Horticulture Committee.
We love you, Al. Thank you for all you have done for us. You are dearly missed.
Memorial services held in Ocala, Fla. A private family service will be held in Rochester.
