Henrietta: September 4, 2017, age 88. For the last sixteen years, Andrew was best known as Santa Andy at Hansen Nature Center, Hochstein School of Music, and Andrus, where he lived during his teenage years. He taught English for 29 years at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at RIT. Also, he served on the Zoning Board of Appeals in Henrietta and IRT Theater Board in New York City, and was active in the IEEE and STC.
Andrew was preceded in death by his two older brothers Daniel and Charles, and is survived by his spouse, Kathleen, four children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Church, 3318 E. Henrietta Rd., at 10 am on Saturday, September 9. Donations in his memory may be sent to Andrus, 1156 N. Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701.
