Ann Louise Liotti

d. September 24, 2024

Ann Liotti, 84, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024, in Rochester, New York, concluding a loving life that was full of compassion, laughter, and adventure.

Born in Buffalo on April 23, 1940, Ann spent most of her life in Rochester raising her family. She retired to Apex, North Carolina, before returning to Rochester to complete her journey. Besides raising her three children, she was the Queen of the Notre Dame Naval ROTC Ball in1960; earned her nursing degree in 1961 from Canisius College in Buffalo and finished her nursing career at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse; was a school nurse at St. Pius Tenth in Chili; spent several years selling Jewelry at The Source; went to two Super Bowls; took her first sky-diving jump in Hawaii at 64; graduated from the Cary (NC) Police Department Citizen Police Academy at 76; lived and breathed the Buffalo Bills and attended a Bills game in person at 83 and was Josh Allen’s biggest fan.

Never without her smile, Ann was adventurous and mischievous, found joy in the little things, and spread love and acceptance to everyone she encountered, whether in a fleeting moment or with a life-long relationship. Her hugs and kisses made life’s worries disappear. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Anthony; identical twin sister Rose Marie Berthiaume; mother and father Rose and Edward Fischer; and grandson Joshua Liotti. Ann is survived by her children Paul (Kristin) Liotti, John Liotti, and Ann (Steven) Prior; her grandchildren Abbie (partner Cameron Palmer) Liotti, Bel (T) Condé, Emma (fiancé Colin Smith)Prior, Owen (partner Miriam Rodriguez) Liotti, Janel (partner Christian Roussell) Liotti, and Ayla Prior; her brother Tim (Tobey) Fischer; Michele Liotti; brother-in-law Tom Berthiaume; and a host of extended family members, friends, and acquaintances.
